Thanks for this great podcast. I agree that we often do not believe what we THINK we believe. It is through our actions that our believes often show themselves.
On a completely different note, I have a quick question: I am writing a novel currently, but I am finding that I am NOT naturally gifted at comedy . . . do you know of any good books which discuss the principles of comedy? Anything to help me understand how good comedy is structured?
Thanks! I love this blog and all the ideas I find on it!
Thanks Laura! Sorry – I don’t know of any good resources on the structure of comedy.
Thanks anyways. If ever you do find something, please share! :)
There is a great YouTube video in which Jerry Seinfeld describes how he approaches comedic structure.
Thanks Eslomba, I’ll look for it!
