Do you consider the story you tell through your work? Lisa Johnson believes you must. She’s spent the last several years studying the effects of story on the mind, and how we can leverage story to better connect with others. In this interview, Lisa shares her thoughts about how creatives can leverage story in order to resonate more deeply.

The Lisa Johnson Podcast was so great! This idea of embedding stories (even the shortest stories) into our work to reach our audience more quickly and deeply is dead on. Lisa Johnson called it telling the “change in condition.” Ms. Johnson said something like: “Susan Boyle went from a frumpy middle-aged woman to a songstress with fans on their feet”. Perhaps the more vast a change in a short span of time, the more we are programmed to notice. Sweet Podcast!
I just love your Show Todd. Thanks for putting this together. It is amazing how you get this large content in to only 15 to 20 min.
Thanks so much, Gabriel! Glad you enjoy it.
