    “Offending with Love” is an idea behind many sermons. You say things, not to be controversial or edgy, you do it out of love for the congregation to push them farther in their faith.

    Love that phrase, which I am going to use more often. Thanks for the interesting show.

    I so agree about the swearing for the sake of swearing… I think the same principle applies to gross violence, sexiness, and crudeness.
    Its easy to add and gets a reaction. But its not creative. Its a cop-out!
    I know that wasn’t the main point of the podcast (which was great!) but I wanted to add my voice…
