Why Your Team Needs You To Be Precise
Why Your Team Needs You To Be Precise
If you want your team to do bold, creative work, you must take the first risk by giving them clear, precise direction. Here are a few ways to do so.
I love your podcast Todd and find it very inspiring. But really – outsourcing guy? I may be feeling harsh but he sounds like another “online marketing guru” type which seem to cropping up everywhere in the last year and deluding the interwebs with more ways to sell their own services. I think what you offer is real and genuine, but I think selling cheap labor overseas is what Mr. Ducker does for a living and his book is a calling card for his services. I know everyone’s selling something these days, but stay gold Pony Boy and keep your niche in the creative space and not in the online marketing space. Thanks for everything you do and for allowing for some constructive criticism.
I agree. Outsourcing to low paying countries has nada to do with what AC stands for. Guy is using AC to sell a book about “virtual” assistants and dressing it up to sound like something more. Keep bringing the creative pros AC but this one is a miss.
Snake oil. He is talking about how he can get other people to do the stuff better so he can spend his time working on his personal brand, which if you check his blog sounds like he is working enough hours on to “burn out” last December. It’s a silly proposition. I think it’s called “hiring people” which I’m pretty sure is not revolutionary in any way. Buy his book and learn how to outsource to third world countries so you have time to burn out on something else. Ah Tim ferris. You created another monster! Even so —- Keep up the awesome podcast Todd.
