I love the Accidental Creative Podcast! Great ideas are thrown out there for us to catch.
I’m 46, living in a life that we are taught not to get too close to the sun. I’m ready to throw that out the window and live.
I do have one idea I would like to throw out there. Disclaimer: I have not read Chris Brogan’s book, yet.
He mentioned a society that can’t trust, and we aren’t getting better at that.
But of course not, look at society. We, as a society, don’t understand commitment, honor, integrity, honesty, etc. We can’t have trust without these on which to anchor trust.
I work in a bike shop near a private Christian college. The last two employees that were let go were studying to be youth ministers. They were let go for theft. They don’t see a connection to their trustworthiness and their actions.
I think this lesson of values that secure trust isn’t being taught by the way we, as a society, live our lives.
We won’t have trust till we have these values back in our lives.
Thank you for a fabulous interview and podcast.
Lisa
